BWARM & MFSA-sponsored meal - June 3, 2010 -- Meal co-sponsored by MFSA at Annual Conference. Featured speaker will be Steve Clapp, the president of Christian Community, a non-denominational research organization that looks at various issues related to church health, growth, etc. Clapp is the author of Why the Church Needs LGBT Members, and in 2006, published a study about Teens and Religion - which, among other things, asked questions about their views on the church and sexuality.

- ANNUAL MEETING: June 12, 2010 -- Please join us for our Annual Meeting, at Emmanuel UMC in Laurel, MD. We will gather at 9:30 am for refreshments and fellowship. At 10, we will begin with music and worship. We will celebrate our accomplishments of the past year, including the Cup of Justice Award that we received from the Reconciling Ministries Network last September. We will also celebrate new reconciling congregations and those who are having those discussions. During our business meeting we will share plans for the coming year and elect our Steering Committee for the 2010/2011. Please join us for this celebration. Directions to Emmanuel UMC in Laurel, MD.
